Northney ice cream is a great example of a simple but effective website. The front page offers the owner the chance to update ad-hoc and the 5 pages afford plenty of room for all sorts of information!
grillymonk is a new t-shirt shop using the spreadshirt shopping base hosted inside an iframe on a new site. The links and banners on the site are all sponsored through the google adsense and commission swapping sites. The images on the gallery page are stored in an SQL Server database and served dynamically through as asp.net webpage.
I created this site in ASP.net and styled it using css. The code behind takes in a Google maps URL and loads the map to the screen using the Google maps API. Once loaded, the user has the chance to take that route and create a route profile and the page does this by sending the route points off through another API from topocoding. This returns a profile map as an image which is then displayed for the user.
This site is essentially a video blog showing how to do various things using ASP.net, javascript etc. I made this site as a knowledge base for me but it is proving popular with other developers who get as frustrated as I did learning how to do more complex things. It was written in ASP.net and uses some dynamic javascript to show the FLV videos. Settings etc are stored in a SQL Server database.
Friend file was more of an experiment to see what is possible in facebook. This application loads using javascript web service calls and uses the facebook API and the scriptaculous javascript library to add some funky web 2.0 interface goodies.
Written using ASP.net against a SQL Server database, this is my blog. It uses .net security and profiles.
